Full scholarships to summer programs
We partner with top colleges and universities to offer select College Prep Scholars the opportunity to take courses on their world-class campuses and immerse themselves in the college experience. Scholarships fund the full cost of travel, tuition, housing and meals, and supplies.
At a college summer program, you will:
Explore a topic of interest at the college level
Collaborate and participate in hands-on activities with students from across the country
Cultivate relationships with faculty and researchers
Learn more about college life and the extensive resources and support available to students from low-income backgrounds
Brown Pre-College Programs: Summer@Brown
Session I: June 22 - July 3, 2025 (Providence, RI), Residential

Summer@Brown provides the opportunity for students to embrace the challenge of college-level academics. Students can choose from over 200 non-credit courses reflecting the wide range of Brown University’s Open Curriculum that will challenge them with new perspectives on how they work, learn, and live. Outside of class, students participate in workshops, activities and events that inform, engage, and entertain.
Carleton College Summer Liberal Arts Institute: Computer Science
July 12 - August 1, 2025 (Northfield, MN), Residential
Through classroom learning, lab activities, and collaborative guided research directed by college faculty with mentorship by undergraduate teaching assistants, students will learn how to systematically approach problems like a computer scientist. The program culminates with a research symposium where students demonstrate the results of their work to each other and the broader community.
Carleton College Summer Liberal Arts Institute: Humanities
July 12 - August 1, 2025 (Northfield, MN), Residential
Students will seek to understand the complex connections between vision, performance/experience, knowledge, and truth and the ways in which people have used texts, images, and performance to encounter new and different ideas and realities. They will work with college faculty to learn techniques of research, interpretation, and presentation, diving into the depth and complexity of the nature of human thought through lectures, field trips, discussions, and primary source explorations. The program culminates with a research symposium where students demonstrate the results of their work to each other and the broader community.
Emory University Pre-College Program
Session A: June 15 - June 28, 2025 (Atlanta, GA), Residential

Session C: July 13 - July 26, 2025 (Atlanta, GA), Residential
Through an intensive two-week course in biology, computer programming, social justice, and more, students learn from Emory faculty who are leading experts in their fields. Students are also offered a glimpse into academic and residential life at a university by living in on-campus residence halls and participating in co-curricular activities with a global community.
Rice University, National Youth Leadership Forum: Medicine & Healthcare (through Envision)
July 5 - July 12, 2025 (Houston, TX), Residential
Students interested in a future in medicine will have the opportunity to learn from doctors, participate in an interactive curriculum, visit an accredited medical school, test their medical knowledge during clinical skills rotations, and explore professional opportunities in the ever-expanding fields of medicine and health care among fellow high school students.
Stanford University, Intensive Law & Trial (through Envision)
July 6 - July 15, 2025 (Palo Alto, CA), Residential
July 17 - July 26, 2025 (Palo Alto, CA), Residential
Through this course, students explore all facets of a career in law. They will learn from legal professionals including Stanford Law School professors, participate in a competitive mock trial simulation, discuss the practice of law, legal rhetoric, and ethics, and develop leadership and public speaking skills.
University of Chicago Immersion
Session I: June 14 - July 4, 2025 (Chicago, IL), Residential
Session II: July 7 - July 26, 2025 (Chicago, IL), Residential
During this three-week program, students experience in-depth learning through coursework in creative writing, infectious diseases, neuroscience, multimedia design, and more. Students will collaborate with their peers, have the opportunity to conduct observational studies or design their own research experiments, and participate in other activities outside of the classroom.
University of Chicago Summer Online
Session I: June 16 - July 4, 2025, Virtual

Students are offered a variety of different course topics, such as biology, art, and quantitative finance. All classes are designed to make the most of online resources and activities. Students will be encouraged to immerse themselves in the program through engaging in class discussions, taking part in group projects, and getting to know peers from all over the world.
University of Notre Dame Leadership Seminars
July 19 - July 30, 2025 (Notre Dame, IN), Residential
Through this program, students work with Notre Dame faculty in small group settings. They will be encouraged to enhance their critical thinking, research, and presentation skills while focusing on complex global issues, such as inequality, financial literacy, and the environment. Outside of the classroom, students participate in organized activities, such as ice skating and open mic nights while also being encouraged to dive into service projects in the local community.
University of Notre Dame Summer Scholars

Session II: June 28 - July 12, 2025 (Notre Dame, IN), Residential
This program offers an academic track within a wide range of exciting fields, from STEM to fine arts. Students not only collaborate with faculty and peers to tackle rigorous coursework but also take part in various extracurricular activities designed to connect and engage all participants. Participants in this program will be able to grow personally and academically as they learn from students all over the country.
University of Pennsylvania, Management & Technology Summer Institute
July 6 - July 26, 2025 (Philadelphia, PA), Residential
A highly challenging, fast-paced college course, Management & Technology Summer Institute (M&TSI) prepares students with the skills needed to link technology and management concepts within three weeks. Through interdisciplinary studies, students explore engineering and business concepts while being exposed to potential career paths within each field.
Washington University in St. Louis, Ancient Studies Institute
June 15 - June 28, 2025 (St. Louis, MO), Residential
Over the course of two weeks, students explore the rich culture and literature of the ancient Greeks through interactive activities, creative projects, and class discussions. This program is ideal for students looking to build critical thinking and research skills while learning to appreciate the differences and similarities between the ancient and modern world.
Washington University in St. Louis, Creative Immersion Institute
June 15 - June 28, 2025 (St. Louis, MO), Residential
Students with a strong interest in creative writing or performing arts will be immersed in storytelling while experiencing the impact of a university community on their writing. During this two-week course, students not only experiment in a number of creative writing genres (photo essays, poetry, memoir, scripts), but also share and reflect on their own projects and projects of their peers.
Washington University in St. Louis, Environmental Studies Institute
July 13 - July 26, 2025 (St. Louis, MO), Residential
This institute gives students the chance to discover the ecological principles that are the basis of environmental studies and sustainability while exploring how environmental studies incorporate concepts from across natural and social sciences. Through hands-on projects and interactive lectures, students will gain practical skills in environmental problem-solving and will be empowered to make a meaningful impact on their communities and beyond, sparking a lifelong passion for environmental advocacy.
Washington University in St. Louis, Exploration Course in Introduction to Environmental Science
June 16 - July 11, 2025, Virtual
Students will be introduced to the fields (from biology to economics) used in understanding the workings of the natural world and human interactions with our environment. Course topics include: human population growth, energy resources, land and food resources, water resources, air pollution, global climate change, and human health and toxicology, as well as a review of ecology and species diversity.
Washington University in St. Louis, Exploration Course in Metacognating Mario: Learning and Video Games
June 16 - July 11, 2025, Virtual
Throughout this course, students investigate video games as a significant experiential learning environment, exploring which skills may transfer to other contexts, what kind of understanding is built through game play, and what games may teach us about ourselves as learners. Readings and activities will promote rigorous, critical analysis of both games and theories of learning.
Washington University in St. Louis, Exploration Course in Personal Narrative
June 16 - June 27, 2025, Virtual
Students will write a collection of personal narratives using objects, photos, and scripts to develop the ability to tell stories, share them with others, and gain confidence in writing college admissions essays. The course culminates in the creation of an ePortfolio.
Washington University in St. Louis, Exploration Course in Set in Stone? Monuments, Memory, and Public History
June 16 - July 3, 2025, Virtual
Students will explore the historical perspectives of the centrality of monuments and memory to nation building. This course walks through an analysis of recent actions to bring down statues/monuments, allowing for the scrutinization of the cultural importance of statues in the crafting of national memories, their place in public spaces, and the debate over their permanence after a society adopts a critical review of the past.
Washington University in St. Louis, Exploration Course in Spandex, Spangles, and Stripes: Race, Gender, and the American Superhero
June 16 - July 11, 2025, Virtual
Students will examine how the superhero as a character, genre, and industry has both reflected and critiqued discourses on national identity, citizenship, and globalization, especially in relation to race, gender, and sexuality. Centering graphic novels, movies, and TV shows, this course explores how political tensions and cultural values have played out in the bodies, stories, and responses to American superheroes.
Washington University in St. Louis, Exploration Course in The Biological Basis for Human Disease
June 16 - July 11, 2025, Virtual
This multidisciplinary course is specifically designed for students interested in the biological sciences or those interested in pursuing a future in the health sciences. Students will build a foundational framework to better understand the pathophysiology of human disease, incorporating elements of molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, immunology, and pathology.

July 6 - July 19, 2025 (St. Louis, MO), Residential
Students participating in this institute conduct research on a topic of their choice, focusing on practical, applied work with primary and secondary sources, providing a good foundation for advanced research and writing in college. By developing strong critical thinking skills, students will be prepared to contribute their views and understand the different methods by which different audiences and scholarly disciplines select, analyze, evaluate, incorporate, and document the works of others.
Yale Young Global Scholars Program, Innovations in Science & Technology

Innovations in Science & Technology (IST) is designed for students who are interested in learning about diverse topics in the STEM fields and applying scientific principles to real-world applications. Students explore a wide variety of scientific fields from molecular biology to engineering and are exposed to interdisciplinary applications across these fields, ranging from the nanoscopic to the astronomical in scale.

Literature, Philosophy, & Culture is designed for students with an interest in the expression and interpretation of creativity and culturally significant texts. Participants study fiction, philosophy, poetry, theater, film, music, visual arts, dance, and other creative arts. Students will be presented with interdisciplinary and international perspectives and will consider the function of the arts and humanities when inspiring solutions to social problems and dilemmas.

Politics, Law, & Economics is designed for students with an interest in understanding diverse economic theories, the values and practices of government, and legal frameworks in historical and comparative perspectives. Students learn key ideas in topics such as public policy, human rights, market regulation, governance structures, international policy, and conflict and cooperation across borders, preparing them to be more informed and engaged global citizens.

Solving Global Challenges is designed to equip students with innovative and cross-disciplinary strategies to address the most pressing global issues of the 21st century covering a broad range of topics, including global health, gender equality, poverty alleviation, and environmental sustainability. Students develop their skills in critical analysis, problem-solving, and creativity as they work towards sustainable solutions to the complex issues that will shape our future.
