Aggregate statistics cannot begin to capture the range of skills, talent, personality, or achievement of the College Prep Scholarship recipients; however, an overview of the academic achievement and ethnic diversity of this group is noteworthy. Of the 3,098 College Prep Scholars:

  • 74% were among the first generation in their family to attend college.
  • 17% were 1st in their class.
  • 85% were in the top 10% of their class.


PSAT Score (CR + M)

  • 2% scored above 150.
  • 10% scored above 140.
  • 26% scored above 130.
  • 49% scored above 120.

 

Income

  • 23% had family income less than $20,000.
  • 65% had family income less than $40,000.
  • 94% had family income less than $60,000.
