As an example: a $1,000 outside merit-based scholarship will reduce the Swarthmore Scholarship by $250 and will reduce the campus job opportunity by $750.

Health Insurance
Swarthmore requires all students to have health insurances either through their parents or another plan. If student is not covered by a parental plan, Swarthmore will cover the cost of the College's plan. Students must formally enroll in the insurance program to receive this benefit.

Other Details
Students will use campus job earnings and a portion of federal grants to pay for books & supplies, travel, and personal expenses.
