Outside Scholarships
The first $1,660 of outside scholarship will be used to reduce the student earnings contribution. Additional scholarship will be used to reduce the Oberlin Grant, dollar for dollar.

Health Insurance
Oberlin requires all students to have health insurance, either through a parent or through the Oberlin Student Health Plan. The Oberlin plan is $805 for the 09-10 school year.

Other Details
Travel costs will vary based on student location. This expense is subsidized by the summer work contribution.

Federal student loans are optional and may be available up to $5,500, depending on student expenses.

The cost of attendance figures are based on 2009-2010 expenses and will be updated in March of 2010.
