The Wesleyan McNair Program assists students from underrepresented groups with preparing for, entering, and progressing successfully through post-graduate education.

Wesleyan participates in the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship program, which provides mentoring and research opportunities for students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds, with a goal of increasing the number of minority faculty members at U.S. colleges and universities.
