"As I applied to more competitive colleges, there was always that voice in my head that told me 'No, you can't get in.' QuestBridge helps low-income students believe that they too can thrive in a college community."

Our Scholars

QuestBridge students are exceptional individuals who have achieved academic excellence in spite of socio-economic obstacles.  Students who are successful in our programs have faced significant financial challenges and often shoulder an unusual amount of responsibility at home, yet are academically outstanding and are leaders in their schools and communities. Our students come from all over the United States and represent a variety of racial, cultural, and geographic backgrounds. Over 70% of Quest students are in the first generation of their family to attend college.

Since 2004, QuestBridge has been instrumental in connecting these students with opportunities at America’s leading colleges, as well as encouraging their growth as leaders in society. Once admitted to our partner colleges, these Quest Scholars become part of the Quest Scholars Network (QSN), a national program founded in 2009 with chapters at each of our partner colleges. Quest Scholars go on to pursue careers in many different fields and distinguish themselves through their leadership, positive outlook, and passion for giving back to others.
